SAUDI ARABIA/SRI LANKA: Nothing is moving to save Rizana Nafeek who awaits beheading at Dawdami Prison, Saudi Arabia

Average’s comment: They call this country the “Kingdom of Humanity”…. MY FOOT

A Statement from the Asian Human Rights Commission

We reproduce below a news item that appeared in the Asia Tribune. The article describes the pathetic plight of Rizana Nafeek, who may be beheaded at any time.

Rizana NafeekEver since the initial verdict of the Dawdami High Court sentencing her to death, the Asian Human Rights Commission has maintained that she is innocent of the charges and that it was the duty of the Sri Lankan government to do all it can to save her life. As the government refused to assist her to file her appeal, the failure of which would have led to her death 30 days after the verdict, the Asian Human Rights Commission took the initiative to collect the lawyer’s fee for filing her appeal (USD $40,000) and got the appeal filed in time. Ever since, there has been worldwide attention on this case and literally all the leading media agencies in the world highlighted her plight, and millions of people from around the world campaigned on her behalf. Most recently, even the European Union expressed their concern for her and stated that her case is being monitored.

However, Mr. Dilan Perera, Minister of Foreign Employment Promotion & Welfare in Sri Lanka, stated publicly several times that such campaigning may be counterproductive in the context of Saudi Arabia and that the government of President Rajapaksha is engaged in diplomatic efforts in order to save Rizana Nafeek. Minister Perera made the same remarks even at the Sri Lankan parliament when questioned about the matter.

However, from the reports that have subsequently appeared, it has become very clear that the government of President Rajapaksha has failed to take any effective measures to ensure successful negotiations with the family of the deceased infant in order to secure a pardon for Rizana Nafeek. It now appears that all the Minister Perera has done is to attempt to stop a worldwide campaign to release Rizana Nafeek due to the political embarrassment it has created for the Rajapaksha government. He has done this by taking responsibility to get Rizana’s release and thereafter doing nothing about it.

What was most embarrassing for the Sri Lankan government was the rise of criticism of the government’s failure in this matter by many Muslim leaders in Sri Lanka and also the Muslim community as a whole. Besides this, the women’s movements in Sri Lanka and also organisations for the protection of migrant workers and many others, including other religious groups, have been actively engaged in demanding that the government secure her release.

While the government of President Rajapaksa has failed to initiate any diplomatic measures to secure her release, its efforts have been to silence critics and to dampen the campaigners for her release by making false promises of taking the responsibility for her release.

The Asian Human Rights Commission, which has throughout campaigned for her release, is shocked and saddened by the utter negligence and lack of concern shown by the government on this issue.

On an earlier occasion, AHRC wrote an open letter to President Rajapaksa on this issue. We once again reiterate that the life of Razina Nafeek lies in the hands of President Mahinda Rajapaksa and that if her death sentence, which has been delayed due to worldwide interest shown on her behalf, is to take place, the entire responsibility for her life would lie with the hands of the President and his government.

We call upon everyone to write to President Rajapaksa and to hold vigils in Sri Lanka and outside, demanding the government to take immediate diplomatic measures to get her released.

The contact details of President Mahinda Rajapaksa are as follows:

His Excellency the Hon. Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa
President Socialist Democratic Republic of Sri Lanka

Breaking News
By K.T.Rajasingham
Colombo, 31 May, (

It is unfortunate, we have conveniently forgotten her. She continues to languish in the Dawdami High Security Prisons since 25 May 2005. Unfortunately we have not done anything to secure her release. She is still in the same Dawdami Prison, without any light at the end of the tunnel.

To know her present plight, I contacted Dr. Kifaya Ifthikar , a Sri Lankan dental surgeon working in Riyadh and who visits regularly to the Dawdami Prison to meet Rizana Nafeek.
I asked her when she last went to the Dawdami Prison to meet Rizana Nafeek. She said last time she visited was in the first week of April 2012.

She said that as nothing is moving in her favor, she is planning to go again in the second week of June, to meet Rizana Nafeek.

When asked about the condition of Rizana Nafeek, Dr. Kifaya Ifthikar said that she is ‘OK’. She is keeping well without any problems. She used to cry for some time whenever she sees me. She also said that whenever she visits the prisons, she makes arrangements for Rizana Nafeek to speak by phone to her parents in Muthur, Sri Lanka.

“She does not know that her appeal in the Supreme Court was rejected. She does not know that the Supreme Court has confirmed her death penalty. She even does not know that she awaits the consequences of beheading, one day or other, in case we failed to secure her release.

The poor soul, she is hoping that one day she will be released. She is always happy whenever I visit her and she is of the opinion that something good is happening to her.”

When I asked Dr. Kifaya Ifthikar in what language she talks with Rizana Nafeek? She said that she use to converse with her in Tamil and now she knows very good Arabic and very fluent in that language, as she is inside the prison with Arabic people.

Dr. Kifaya Ifthikar said that from the day she was arrested on 25 May 2005, to date, she continues to remain the Dawdami Prison. The prison is like an urban house and she is not in a death row. There is no any problem for her inside the prison. Everything is perfectly all right for her and she is inside, but she has to come out soon from the prison.

She says that Sri Lankan Embassy in Riyadh knows about her visits to prison, as she has to go in the Embassy vehicle as it is a 4 hour long journey from Riyadh and there are lot of check points and have to show documents and it is possible to go only by the Embassy vehicle.

It is very long she is there in the prison and she should come out soon.

Dr. Kifaya Ifthikar said last time I was in Sri Lanka I went and met her parents in their house in Muthur. I met them last August. I went and stayed with the family from morning to evening and then went back. I am in contact with them almost once in a week. The two sisters of Rizana Nafeek are going to school and their house is also in a very bad condition. I don’t want to do anything immediately. I want the Girl (Rizana Nafeek) to be out first.

Rizana Nafeek of Muthur, when she was 17 years old, became a victim of a recruitment agent who altered her date of birth in her passport, making her as 23-years old and was sent to Saudi Arabia on 22 April 2005 as a house maid, to work in the family of Mr & Mrs Naif Jizin Khalaf Al-Otaibi of Dawdami, Saudi Arabia.

On 25th May 2005, she was arrested and thrown into the Dawdami High Security Prison on charges of murdering the 4 month old baby son of Mr & Mrs Naif Jizin Khalaf Al-Otaibi of Dawdami.

Initially, on June 16, 2007, a three-member panel of judges from the Dawadami High Court headed by Chief Justice Abdullah Al-Rosaimi found Rizana Nafeek guilty of murdering the four-month-old son of Naif Jiziyan Khalaf Al-Otaibi and sentenced her to death.

The court informed Rizana Nafeek that she could file an appeal against her death sentence, which she did.

Subsequently, the Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia confirmed on the 25th of September 2010, the death sentence of Sri Lanka house maid Rizana Nafeek.

In October 2010, Sri Lanka President made a special appeal to King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, King of Saudi Arabia to grant pardon to her.

Later on 18 November 2011, an eighteen member delegation appointed by Minister Dilan Perera went to Riyadh to seek the release of Rizana Nafeek. The delegation was more or less led by Kingsley Ranawaka , chairman of the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment .

After their failed attempt, Kingsley Ranawaka is no more the Chairman of Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment. When Asian Tribune asked whether he was removed because of the failed attempt to secure the release of Rizana Nafeek, a spokeswoman of the Ministry of Foreign Employment Promotion & Welfare said, “it had no connection”.

Subsequently, Asian Tribune contacted Dilan Perera, Minister of Foreign Employment Promotion & Welfare and asked about Kingsley Ranawaka, the Chairman of the Employment Bureau. The Minister said that President Mahinda Rajapaksa has transferred him as Chairman of Mega Naguma.

Also Asian Tribune asked Dilan Perera about the action taken by his Ministry regarding the release of Rizana Nafeek. The Minister said, “I don’t give press interviews on policy matters as that is not the way for us to move about regarding getting Rizana’s pardon. Sorry Mr. Rajasingham, I respect you a lot.

It is a pity the poor Rizana Nafeek is still languishing in the prison and so far no arrangements are made to secure her freedom.
Let us all pray for her release.

Schoolgirl banned from playing basketball for speaking Native American language

Average’s comment: Reverend Wright…. was right!
And what did we learn today, class? At Sacred Heart Catholic School in Shawano, Wisconsin, a recent lesson plan revealed to students that saying “I love you” in one’s native tongue is something worthy of disciplinary action.
A seventh grade student at the private northeastern Wisconsin school learned that lesson the hard way recently after educators decided to boot 12 year old Miranda Washinawatok from the basketball team for saying a few phrases in the language used by the Menominee Tribe of Indians.
The Menominee are a nation of Native Americans that total around 8,700 in the state of Wisconsin. Never mind the fact that the Menominee have been in the area for over 1,000 years, though. In America, you speak English. Unless, apparently, you don’t want to play school sports.
After her teacher complained that Washinawatok had spoken a few phrases in her tribe’s language, the student says the educator became pretty agitated.
“She sort of threw her hands down on her desk and said, ‘Don’t be talking like that. How would you like it if I started talking Polish?’” Miranda Washinawatok tells a local NBC affiliate.
The student says the words she said aloud were the Menominee translations for “Hello,” “Thank you” and “I love you.”
From there the teacher, Julie Gurta, recommended disciplinary actions. When the school’s principal got wind that the student was a troublemaker of sorts, he benched her from the next basketball game. Principal Dan Minter has since apologized and says he wasn’t aware of the nature of the exact incident when he suggested taking Washinawatok off the team.
Gurta has apologized as well, offering a statement saying the actions were not meant to single out the student. Washinawatok’s mother, however, want more than just a “sorry.”
“It was unfair treatment I thought,”Tanaes Washinawatok tells the NBC affiliate. “It could have been handled differently.”
Tanaes adds that many of the school’s students are Native Americans and she fears they will be subjected to similar treatment in the future. Her solution, she says, is to fire the teacher.
“I’m not going to let anybody tell me they can’t speak that language,”adds the mom. She also calls the way Gurta handled the matter as“arrogant, narrow-minded way of teaching”and will be appealing for the diocese to relieve her from her position.
In a statement to the Menominee Nation, the Green Bay, Wisconsin diocese offered an apology saying that“It is our hope that with greater awareness, we can begin to repair any harm that has been caused, and be able to build new and improved relationships.”

Israel takes back promise to Obama not to attack Iran before the election

Sources from inside Washington, DC are telling the international media that Israeli leadership is upset with US President Barack Obama’s handling of Iran’s alleged nuclear threat and may take military action before the November election.
The Debka news agency quotes sources from America’s capital that say Israel has withdrawn its earlier promise to avoid striking Iran before the upcoming US presidential election this fall. The reason, reports Debka, heavily revolves around President Obama’s refusal to side with Israel’s demands in dealing with the rumored emerging threat of a nuclear program in Iran.
Previously, authorities in Israel told the White House that they would refrain from striking Iran until after Election Day as to avoid marring the race by possibly involving the US in an international war. Because President Obama has not put his foot down on Iran’s alleged nuclear warhead procurement plan, Israeli officials are not reportedly willing to attack at any moment.
“There is no need to tell us what to do, and we have no reason to panic. Israel is very, very strong, but we do know that the Iranians are accomplished chess players and will try to achieve nuclear capabilities,” reads a translated statement from Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak delivered this week in Hebrew. “Our position has not changed. The world must stop Iran from becoming nuclear. All options remain on the table.”
Minister Barak offered his statement on May 23, less than a week after attending a meeting in Washington. On May 17, Barak spoke with US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta at the Pentagon outside of Washington to discuss the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran, at which point Debka reports he was told that Obama had rejected the Jewish state’s plea. Debka’s sources say Obama was unwilling to demand that Iran halt their “high-grade uranium enrichment, export its stocks of material enriched higher than 3.5 percent grade and shut down production at the Fordo nuclear plant near Qom.”
Debka adds that, after the meeting with his US counterpart, Defense Minister Barak spoke with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and National Security Adviser Tom Donilon over the ongoing Iran issue but was unable to have either member of the Obama administration aid in Israel’s plea to sanction Iran.
Previously, President Obama has gone on the record to say that he stands by America’s alliance with Israel and told The Atlantic earlier this year, “I think that the Israeli government recognizes that, as president of the United States, I don’t bluff.”
“I also don’t, as a matter of sound policy, go around advertising exactly what our intentions are. But (both) governments recognize that when the United States says it is unacceptable for Iran to have a nuclear weapon, we mean what we say,” added Obama.
President Obama and Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met in Washington back in March during the annual American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) conference, where the Iran issue was a major topic of discussion. Despite urging from overseas, however, the White House yet refused to formally side with any military strikes on Iran.

Indict Rendell: Political elites fall on wrong side of bad law

It’s no surprise that providing “material support” to a terrorist group is against the law. But a 2010 Supreme Court decision, Holder v. Humanitarian Law Project, concluded it’s not just illegal to ship grenades or suitcases of cash. “Advocacy performed in coordination with, or at the direction of, a foreign terrorist organization” is also a felony.
Why, then, nearly two months after it was revealed that the Treasury Department is investigating former Gov. Ed Rendell for receiving money from a terrorist group to undertake just that sort of advocacy, has he not been indicted by the Department of Justice?
In recent years, Rendell had delivered speeches in support of Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK), an Iranian Marxist-Islamist group that resides in an Iraqi desert base and that the U.S. designated a terrorist organization for killing Americans during the 1970s.
One 10-minute speech earned Rendell $20,000, and he frequently flew to Europe to call for MEK’s removal from the terror list. That would appear to fall within the extraordinarily broad definition of “material support” used by the Obama administration.
Rendell calls that “ludicrous.” He says, “The only thing we’ve done is spoken out on their behalf. And you certainly can’t in any way encumber free speech in America. You know that ― you’re a journalist.”
I do sort of know that―you shouldn’t be able to encumber free speech. But the Supreme Court did just that, and Muslims have been prosecuted for doing less: a satellite TV salesman sentenced to five years for broadcasting Hezbollah’s TV channel; a man indicted for favorable web comments on shooting U.S. soldiers.
Rendell wouldn’t comment on specific cases, but he rightly noted that the First Amendment protected Communist Party activity during the Cold War. So it did, and it does seem incomprehensible that American law could now criminalize speech in support of a war enemy. But as the War on Terror creeps into its eleventh year, presidents Bush and Obama have erected a monstrous national security state and, in the process, rendered American civil liberties unrecognizably feeble.

“Whatever one’s views are on this ruling, it is now binding law. To advocate on behalf of a designated Terrorist group constitutes the felony of ‘providing material support’ if that advocacy is coordinated with the group,” writes Salon blogger and constitutional law attorney Glenn Greenwald. “They’re providing more substantial ‘material support’ to this Terrorist group than many people ― usually vulnerable, powerless Muslims ― who are currently imprisoned for that crime.”

Rendell, however, contends that he’s protected because the funds, as far as he knows, were “raised by individual Iranian expat groups” in the U.S. and Europe.
“Please,” Greenwald tells me. “Iranians who love MEK pay the fees in order to keep a thin layer of separation―any real investigation will find the source of those funds.”
Finally, Rendell says the law should not apply here: The State Department has urged him to dialogue with the MEK. And MEK’s blue-chip American supporters ― could they all have broken the law?
“If you indict me, I hope you know, you have to indict 67 other Americans who did the same thing, including seven generals … [who] served in Iraq. You’d have to indict James Jones, President Obama’s first NSC chief adviser, you’d have to indict former Attorney General [Michael] Mukasey, former FBI Director Louis Freeh … the whole kit and caboodle.” That caboodle is voluminous and high-powered, including Tom Ridge, UN Ambassador John Bolton, Rudolph Giuliani and Howard Dean, among others.
“You tell me that anyone has the right to restrict my freedom of speech and I’ll tell you you’re dead wrong,” Rendell insists.
I wish I were wrong. The Supreme Court’s three dissenters protested that the decision “gravely and without adequate justification injure[s] interests of the kind the First Amendment protects.” So it does. It’s a frightening law and a horrible ruling that pulverizes First Amendment free speech protections. But as long as political nobodies face prosecution for speech crimes, so should elites. Indict Rendell ― and Ridge, Mukasey, Giuliani, etc. ― or repeal this law.

Israel`s Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Weapons

Israel`s long known open secret is its formidable nuclear arsenal. Less is known about its chemical and biological weapons (CBW) capability. Mathaba Analyst Stephen Lendman takes a look.

 by Stephen Lendman

In 1986, Dimona nuclear technician Mordechai Vanunu revealed documents showing what many long suspected. Israel had been secretly developing, producing and stockpiling nuclear weapons for years. Experts called his information genuine. They revealed sophisticated technology able to amass a formidable nuclear arsenal. Today it’s more potent than ever. In his 1991 book titled “The Samson Option: Israel’s Nuclear Arsenal and America Foreign Policy,” Seymour Hersh discussed its strategy to launch massive nuclear counterattacks in response to serious enough threats. In his 1997 book titled “Open Secrets: Israeli Nuclear and Foreign Policies,” Israel Shahak said Israel won’t hesitate using nuclear or other weapons to advance its “hegemony over the entire Middle East.” In 2006, former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert told Germany’s Sat. 1 channel: “Iran, openly, explicitly and publicly, threatens to wipe Israel off the map. Can you say that this is the same level, when they are aspiring to have nuclear weapons, as America, France, Israel and Russia?” Later he denied what viewers clearly heard him say. Calls for him to step down followed. So did accusations of ineptitude for acknowledging Israeli nuclear weapons publicly. Israel always stuck to its nuclear ambiguity position. Olmert later backtracked. Damage control didn’t assuage criticism. Opposition party members called him irresponsible. Meretz party member Yossi Beilin said: “The prime minister’s amazing statement regarding nuclear capability indicates a lack of caution bordering on irresponsibility.” Olmert’s approval rating plunged. Aides tried frantically to limit damage. His spokesman, Miri Eisin, said his comments didn’t mean Israel had or wants nuclear weapons. Of course, the cat was out of the bag after Mordechai Vanunu revealed it 20 years earlier. Damage control made things worse. Vanunu welcomed Olmert’s admission, accidental or otherwise. He hoped he said it intentionally, saying: “For 20 years, they tried to deny me and my story, but the policy of cheating and lying didn’t succeed.” Changes are taking place, he added. He hoped his situation would improve. It didn’t. He still chafes under repressive Israeli policies. Practically under house arrest, he’s harassed. His fundamental rights are denied. He wants his citizenship revoked and permission to leave, but Israel won’t grant either right. He’s a legend in his own time. He only wants to live free. After what Israel put him through for decades, he deserves that much and more. Israel refuses to discuss its nuclear capability. Others are less reticent. On May 4, Haaretz headlined “Israel’s atomic arsenal could fall victim to a new US nuclear policy,” saying: Visiting Hiroshima last February, escorts “drew (Israeli Defense Secretary Ehud Barak’s) attention to a map of the world listing the number of nuclear warheads in the possession of the atomic powers. There is a number next to Israel’s name, too: ’80.’ Barak did not respond.” Most experts believe Israel has hundreds of warheads and sophisticated long-range delivery systems. “According to a (late 1990s) secret document of the Pentagon’s Defense Intelligence Agency….leaked during the period of the George W. Bush administration, Israel had ’60 to 80′ nuclear warheads in 1999.” The Pentagon updates its data regularly. It keeps close watch on all nuclear powers and suspected ones like North Korea. Israel never signed the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty (NPT). In 1969, Nixon and Prime Minister Golda Meir mutually agreed that Israel’s nuclear capability wouldn’t harm relations. In 1998, so did Clinton and Netanyahu. In 2009, Obama continued past policy. Expect change eventually. Israel’s belligerency over Iran’s peaceful nuclear program may “boomerang” on its military one. Israel’s Chemical and Biological Weapons (CBW) Israel signed the 1993 Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC), but didn’t ratify it. It never signed the 1972 Biological Weapons Convention (BWC). Its policy is CBW ambiguity. In 1993, the US Congress Office of Technology Assessment WMD proliferation assessment included Israel as a nation having undeclared offensive chemical warfare capabilities. In 1998, former Deputy Assistant Defense Secretary Bill Richardson said: “I have no doubt that Israel has worked on both chemical and biological offensive things for a long time. There’s no doubt they’ve had stuff for years.” Israel tests new weapons in combat. Against Lebanon in 2006 and Gaza during Cast Lead, it used direct energy weapons, chemical and/or biological agents, and others producing injuries and symptoms medical professionals never previously saw. For example, bodies with dead tissue had no apparent wounds. Corpses were found shrunken. Civilians had heavy lower limb damage requiring amputations. Nonetheless, unstoppable necrosis followed (death of cells and living tissue) followed by death. Internal wounds had no trace of shrapnel. Corpses were blackened but not burned. Some badly wounded victims didn’t bleed. The Palestinian health ministry said Israel used a new type explosive in Gaza. It contained toxins and radioactive materials. They burned and tore victims’ bodies from the inside. They also left long term deformations. A Palestinian doctor accused Israel of using chemical ammunition that burns and injures soft tissue, but can’t be traced by X-rays. Severe internal wounds were reported. Unknown gases believed to be nerve agents were used. Those affected lost consciousness for about 24 hours. They experienced high fevers and muscle rigidity. Some needed urgent blood transfusions. In Gaza, white phosphorous was used. It burns flesh to the bone. Depleted uranium spread radioactive contamination. Close-range explosives caused severe injuries, requiring amputations. Children had legs cut off, abdomens sliced open, or died because nothing could save them. In June 2011, CounterPunch contributor Saleh El-Naami headlined “Exposing Israel’s Most Dangerous Secret,” saying: Only authorized personnel have access to the Israeli Institute for Biological Research (IIBR). Israel calls it “a governmental, applied research institute specializing in the fields of biology, medicinal chemistry and environmental sciences.” Others reveal IIBR is “where Israel develops its biological and chemical weapons and prepares for any eventuality of biological or chemical warfare.” Its facility is Israel’s “most top-secret military installation….” Official censorship prohibits anything discussed about it. One exception only occurred after long-term employee Avisha Klein sued “for harassment and emotional abuse.” She was part of a team developing mustard gas protective ointment. During proceedings, more information came out. IIBR has hundreds of scientists and technicians. Its many departments specialize in chemical and biological weapons research, development and production. One is a poison used for assassinations. In 1977, Prime Minister Menachem Begin ordered Mossad to eliminate Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine leader Wadie Haddad. He was fond of Belgian chocolates. Mossad coated some with “a slow-acting poison, and had them delivered to Haddad….” The substance had “undetectable properties.” Haddad’s health deteriorated. Flown to East Germany for treatment, he was diagnosed with leukemia and died on March 29, 1978. Thirty-two years later, the truth came out. IIBR’s poison killed him. Other assassinations were conducted the same way. IIBR specializes in toxic substances and protective vaccines. Anthrax research got attention. Israel feared enemies might use it. IIBR works closely with Israeli military and intelligence operations. They list priorities. IIBR works on them. “For example, information that has come to light during the coverage of Klein’s suit reveals that many years ago the Israeli military establishment was concerned that Arab states might use such chemical agents as mustard gas in an potential assault against Israel and, therefore, instructed the institute to develop a chemical substance to minimise the effects of the gas.” Israeli soldiers were used to test vaccines. Some experienced “permanent physical damage.” Lawsuits for damages were filed. Victims want recognition as disabled veterans and appropriate compensation. Pressure got IDF officials to announce experiments on Israeli personnel would end. The Nuremberg Code prohibits medical experiments without human subjects voluntarily consenting. Recruitment must exclude “coercion, fraud, deceit, and (provide) full disclosure of known risks.” Experiments are prohibited “where there is an a priori reason to believe that death or disabling injury will occur.” Those permitted must be expected “to yield fruitful results for the good of society, unprocurable by other methods or means of study….” In 1948, Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion ordered European Jewish scientists recruited who could “either increase the capacity to kill masses or to cure masses; both are important.” Avraham Marcus Klingberg became a chemical and biological weapons (CBW) expert and IIBR deputy director. Avraham Marcus Klingberg was also recruited. He became the father of Israel’s nuclear weapons program in charge of the Israeli Atomic Energy Commission (IAEC). Ben-Gurion was determined to have a nuclear option and other non-conventional weapons to counter numerical Arab advantage. In his farewell address to the Israeli Armaments Development Authority (RAFAEL), he defended the strategy saying: “I am confident, based not only on what I heard today, that our science can provide us with the weapons that are needed to deter our enemies from waging war against us.” He and Shimon Peres became leading forces behind Israel’s nuclear, biological, and chemicals development program. Strict secrecy was maintained. Staff were forbidden to discuss anything related to their work. Prohibitions remain strict. Truths eventually leak out. One day much more will be known. Vanunu was harshly punished to deter other whistleblowers. Bradley Manning faces similar treatment. In his case, life in prison may result. Nonetheless, some who know tell others. Suppressing vital truths everyone needs to know remains hard to do forever. Much is known about Israel’s nuclear program. Perhaps CBW disclosures will expose secrets too important to hide. —

Ziyad Yaghi: Guilty of Being Muslim in America

by Stephen Lendman

Post-9/11, America declared war on Islam. Wars rage abroad. At home, innocent victims are wrongfully charged, prosecuted, convicted by intimidated and pressured juries, and imprisoned.

Ziyad’s one of many hundreds serving long prison terms in America’s gulag. His crime is being Muslim in America at the wrong time.

On July 27, 2009, dozens of heavily armed Swat and hostage rescue team members arrested seven North Carolina men on terrorist-related charges.

A same day Justice Department press release cited Daniel Patrick Boyd, his two sons, Zakariya and Dylan, Hysen Sherifi, Anes Subasic, Mohammad Omar Aly Hassan, and Ziyad Yaghi.

Charges claimed “conspiring to provide material support to terrorists and conspiring to murder, kidnap, main and injure persons abroad,” despite no plot, no crime, or intention to commit one.

Allegations only were provided. Precise details were omitted. Spurious accusations also suggested wanting to attack US Marines at Quantico, VA.

Earlier on July 22, a federal grand jury indictment listed seven counts. They included:

  • “conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists;
  • conspiracy to murder, kidnap, main, and injure persons in a foreign country;
  • receiving a firearm through interstate commerce;
  • possession of a firearm to be used for a crime of violence;
  • selling or otherwise disposing of a firearm and ammunition to a person knowing and having reasonable cause to believe was convicted of a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year;” and
  • two counts of false statements.
  • At the time, US Attorney George EB Holding said:

“These charges hammer home the point that terrorists and their supporters are not confined to the remote regions of some far away land but can grow and fester right her at home.”

“Terrorists and their supporters are relentless and constant in their efforts to hurt and kill innocent people across the globe. We must be equally relentless and constant in our efforts to stop them.”

On July 27, however, Department of Justice (DOJ) officials said the men weren’t serious threats to US domestic or foreign interests. No evidence suggested ties to Al Qaeda or other militant groups.

Nonetheless, Attorney General Eric Holder and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Janet Napolitano hyped “proof” of “homegrown terrorism.”

Ziyad’s a 24-year old Palestinian American citizen. Family and friends call him kind, gentle, caring, and respectful of others. According to DOJ and DHS officials, he’s guilty of conspiracy to commit terrorism.

Allegations claimed foreign travel connected jihad. No evidence whatever proved it. Ziyad was born in Jordan. In October 2006, he returned to visit family. Officials called it part of a terror plot.

In June 2007, he traveled to Israel but was denied entry. He wanted to visit the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount and Al-Aqsa Mosque. It’s Islam’s third holiest site after Mecca’s Sacred Mosque and the Mosque of the Prophet in Madina.

Charges allege his Jordanian and Israeli travel related to planned jihad. According to his mother Laila:

Soon after returning home, “the FBI was knocking on my door and asking me questions. When Ziyad and his friend came back, they were constantly harassed and watched by the FBI.”

Before visiting Jordan, he and a travel companion “knew a specific person of interest to the FBI for a short while.”

When they returned, they “had no contact with this person.” Nonetheless, “the FBI continued to harass my son and his friend and they tried to pressure them to say something, even though Ziyad and his friend had nothing to say.”

“Both boys insisted that they didn’t know anything personal about the person the FBI was conducting an investigation on and couldn’t understand what the FBI was looking for!”

“Two years later, a simple fight broke between the boys and one of the friends of Ziyad. The FBI made it sound so horrendous and tried to charge Ziyad and his friend with many things and threw them in jail.”

“The FBI came once more to my door and asked me more questions, and then one of them told me that he wants the boys in jail because he wants them to feel more pressured to tell them something about the individual the FBI have been inquiring about earlier.”

“Again that same name was mentioned and the boys stayed in jail almost four months, and when the FBI found that there is nothing against (them) that could prove what they were looking for, my son and his friend were released.”

Laila maintains the Free Zihad Yaghi site. On April 11, 2012, she headlined “How I suffer,” saying:

“Nobody knows how much this hurts!!! Nobody knows that everyday I cannot sleep and if I do, it is only minutes and I am awakened by nightmares!! Why would my own country do this to my son and I?”

“Why would they take an innocent young man and put him in jail? I know that prosecutors and Judges need cases to make money but come on now!! They don’t have to go to this extent and fabricate things just to make money and cause innocent people so much grief!”

“Everyday I spend hours on the computer trying to find someone that might be able to help my son! Every day I pray for hours that my son will be released soon and back in my arms!”

“Every day I pray for the truth to come out and for all the people who caused me this for them to wake up and have a conscious!”

“My son is in constant (isolated) lock down in a room probably the size of your bathroom! Where is justice? Where is humanity? Where are the people with conscience?”

“My tears are stuck constantly in my throat and I try to suppress them especially when I am at work! My life is on pause now because I cannot function properly!
    This is barbaric!”

A personal note. In mid-May, Laila, Lynne Jackson, and I met in Chicago. Laila’s a grieving mother. Her pain is poignant and palpable. She wonders when she’ll be able to embrace her son free.

Lynne’s a Project SALAM volunteer. It provides support and legal advocacy for persecuted Muslims.

It explains how innocent victims like Ziyad are framed and imprisoned. Paid agent provocateur informants entrap unwary targets. Secret evidence unavailable to defense attorneys convicts them.

Government paid bogus experts lie. False testimony given is inflammatory. Credible defense witnesses are ruled out of order and denied.

Pre-trial publicity hypes spurious terror threats. Media scoundrels headline them. Juries are intimidated to convict. Right-wing judges facilitate witch-hunt injustice. Targeted Muslims haven’t a chance. Guilty by accusation imprisons them.

Ziyad got 31.5 years hard time for visiting family members in Jordan. Perhaps also for wanting to pray at Islam’s third holiest site. American justice calls this terrorism or conspiracy to commit it.

Falsified reports say another terror plot was foiled. Family, friends and supporters know an innocent young man was wrongfully convicted. A grieving mother joins many others. Why, they ask? How can a nation claiming democratic credentials put innocent people in prison?

Project SALAM maintains information on many persecuted Muslims. Ziyad’s among them. Friends and supporters can write him at:

    Ziyad Yaghi
    Federal Correctional Complex-USP-2
    PO Box 1034
    Coleman, FL 33521-0879

USP Coleman is a high security federal facility for male prisoners. Imagine kind and gentle innocent victims sent there.

Imagine 31.5 years hard time for praying to the wrong God.

Imagine a nation pledging “liberty and justice for all” convicting for that reason.

Pastor David Eels has two sermons weekly on the Unleavened Bread website. In the beginning of his message he has an interpretation of a vision or dream that is explored in depth. In February 2012 this part of a sermon had a vision of an eagle that appeared emaciated and nearly dead landing outside a large chicken coop. With great effort the eagle was able to get its beak into the coop where it began to break eggs and suck the contents of the egg into its mouth. This was followed by slow steady improvement in the eagle’s nutrition and health. Ultimately the eagle became dynamic and quite strong.
Pastor Eels interpreted this vision as follows. The Eagle represented the United States Government passing from nearly fatal financial weakness to a position of restored power and strength. This restoration might begin during a bank holiday when the government may confiscate all bank accounts, savings accounts, safety deposit accounts, pension plans and possibly stock brokerage accounts. Certainly the grave financial status of the government which is close to bankruptcy could be used to justify seizing citizen’s assets.
There is a precedent for such action. On March 5, 1933 a bank holiday was declared by President Franklin Roosevelt which lasted one week. A friend of mine who is now 85 recalls her father arriving in their home in St. Louis, Mo. in tears completely distraught. He advised the family that all his $70,000 savings had been removed from his bank account. This was an enormous amount of money at that time.
In 1933 ownership of gold was made a criminal offense in an executive order signed by President Roosevelt. I am not aware of what percentage of private gold holdings were actually given to the government. No one knows what percentage of current gold coin owners would comply with a similar gold coin confiscation order today.
If the confiscation of private assets during a bank holiday takes place this brings about a possible major financial crisis that could have huge ramifications for the US population. Some writers have suggested that the bank holiday might be extended for months instead of 7 days so the financial impact would become far greater as very few U.S. citizens have sufficient financial resources in their homes to last several months of no cash flow. This could even lead to death by starvation in those not fortunate enough to be receiving food stamps.
Many persons believe that massive vaccination programs in children, failure to preserve U.S. soil and Canadian soil to an extent that North American soil is now the poorest of any of the continents in the world, FDA attempts to eliminate natural health products from U.S. citizens, promotion of hazardous Genetically Modified Foods without labeling, lack of warnings about dangerous margarine and transfats, mercury in amalgams, widespread usage of root canal surgery which causes chronic infection in every patient, nearly universal use dangerous sugar substitutes (aspartame Splenda etc), governmental coercion of dangerous cancer therapies that obtain pathetic results (chemotherapy and radiation), unscientific use of the carcinogen fluoride in drinking water, dangerous levels of unreported radiation entering the US from the Fukoshima earthquake and tsunami, usage of HAARP to cause earthquakes and tsunamis, lack of adequate radiation monitoring by both the US and Canadian governments following Fukoshima are all part of an insidious program to lower the world population by 90%.
When senseless wars, uranium use in the weapons of these wars, and media use of omission of truth and widespread use of false information is practiced it is not surprising that large segments of the population are oblivious to the real danger that our modern world faces.
Organizations that appear to play a role in this despicable plan to bring about a 90% reduction in world population include Illuminati, Club of Rome, Masonry, Jesuits, Bank of International Settlements, Bildenbergers , and Council on Foreign Relations.

Muslims in Ethiopia suffer discrimination and alienation

May 01, 2012

Crescent International recently interviewed an Addis Ababa-based Muslim journalist and Islamic activist on the current situation in Ethiopia.
Given the oppressive policies of the regime against its people and severe restrictions on freedom of speech, we are withholding his name.

Crescent International (CI): How would you characterize the overall situation in Ethiopia today?

The overall situation in Ethiopia is critical and problematic. The country seems to be going back to one party rule. There is only one opposition member in parliament. Laws are approved without discussion or debate that affect millions of Ethiopians. Official statistics uncritically accepted by international organizations depict a rosy picture but the real situation is quite different. The poor are becoming poorer. The gap between rich and poor is widening at an alarming rate. The government has become quite intolerant of religious, political and journalistic activities. It is common to see people who criticize the government being charged with terrorism offences.

CI: The Western corporate media often creates the impression that Ethiopia is struggling with food shortage. How true is this assessment?

The Ethiopian economy is largely dependent on agriculture that provides livelihood for about 80% of the population. Even though the country is often described as “the water tower of Africa” and has a large land area that could easily be cultivated through irrigation, farming is largely dependent on rain. This dependency on rain has resulted in drought and food shortages in some parts of the country. Additionally, the controversial land policy of the government has contributed much to the drought. However, this doesn’t mean that the country is always struggling with food shortages. There are cases of drought in some parts of the country but not to the extent that the Western media portrays.

CI: What is the position of Muslims in Ethiopia?

The Ethiopian Muslim community is the third largest Muslim community in Africa. However, due to various factors, they are a social minority in the country despite their great number and being the first community to accept Islam even before a majority of the people in Makkah. Ethiopian Muslims have not been active participants in the affairs of the country until very recently.

CI: Is there an active Islamic socio-political movement in Ethiopia? If yes, does it have a solid political, economic and social program to propose to the Ethiopian society? If no, why has such a movement not come into existence?

The Ethiopian Muslims have been in deep slumber until recently. They were systematically excluded from education. When modern education was started in Ethiopia at the beginning of the 20th century the minister of education was the Pope. Students were expected to learn Christianity together with the academic subjects. Therefore, Muslims never tried to send their children to modern schools lest their children changed their identity and religion. It was only after 1991 that Ethiopian Muslims felt the need for education as well as spreading Islam openly. Only 13% of undergraduate students are Muslims. At the postgraduate level, we constitute less than 2% of the student population.

Everyone feels the need for an active socio-political movement. However, there is shortage of skilled manpower to start such a movement. Previously, particularly in 1995, there was an active movement led by the country’s Muslim intellectuals and youth. This movement was brutally crushed by the government. Many leaders of the movement were either sent to prison or exiled. The memory of this movement had scared into silence many intellectuals until the government openly interfered in the religious affairs of Muslims by supporting a heretic group named Ahbash.

CI: We often hear of elections in Ethiopia. How free and fair is the electoral process?

There are certain criticisms against the ruling party regarding election fraud. In many places, especially in the rural areas, people will give their votes to the ruling party whether they like it or not. If a certain region does not vote for the ruling party, it will be punished through various mechanisms. The government will hold its subsidies on fertilizers and infrastructure development will be unthinkable in such places. The town of Dessie offers a good a example for such punishment.

Further, there are also certain cases of mischief including inserting intruders inside opposition parties and bribing opposition party leaders thereby weakening and undermining these parties. The 2005 election and post election phenomena clearly depict the above fact. Food aid is also used as a political tool. Regions that gave their voice to the ruling party will be given better food aid.

CI: Is there credible opposition to the present regime?

The Ethiopian opposition parties are organized with the aim of just being in opposition. There is no credible opposition that has a clear program that can challenge the ruling party. During the 2005 election, the country had seen two major and credible opposition political parties. However, after the election and the subsequent turmoil, the ruling party dismantled the opposition parties. Currently, there is only one member of opposition in parliament. The political space has become very narrow and opposition parties’ members are being jailed under the cover of “the anti-terrorism law”. The ruling party controls businessmen, government employees and even the youth through various mechanisms. Business organizations that do not support the ruling party are levied higher taxes than those that support the party. Government employees who are not members of the party and who do not contribute money to it do not get promoted.

CI: In many parts of the world there is systematic and institutionalized persecution of Muslim activists and Muslims in general. Is it also the case in Ethiopia?

In Ethiopia, the government takes Muslims as agents of foreign powers and latecomers. Since the country is surrounded mainly by Muslim neighbors the government has always been suspicious of Muslim activities. Therefore, it has controlled the only supreme organization responsible for Muslims’ affairs. The Ethiopian Islamic Affairs Supreme Council works under cover to implement the policy of the ruling party. There has been no election in the council for the last 13 years. The council has remained against the rights of Muslims including wearing hijab and congregational prayer in universities. Leaders of the council have been telling the government repeatedly to close Islamic NGOs and schools stating that these organizations are “incubators of terrorists”. They have also played an active role in creating a rift between Muslims. Recently, the government closed some Islamic NGOs and has given one of the largest and oldest Islamic schools (Awelia Muslim Mission School) to the council. The council in turn recently proposed to delete Arabic and religious courses from the school curriculum. It also expelled the teachers of those subjects on December 30, 2011.

Moreover, three journalists of a best selling magazine that is very critical of the government’s violation of the rights of Muslims have been detained by police. After their detention, the society mounted unprecedented pressure and the journalists were released without a proper trial. The court informed the journalists that they are released but the case is not closed yet. These and other actions of the government imply that there is a systematic persecution of Muslims in general and activists in particular.

CI: What is the Ethiopian public’s perception of the Islamic Awakening in the Muslim East?

As part of the global Muslim community, Ethiopian Muslims have been looking at the Islamic Awakening with great admiration. It has also encouraged them to think about their position in the country. There have also been demonstrations against the activities of the government and the Ethiopian Islamic Affairs Supreme Council. Every Friday people gather outside Awelia Muslim Mission School and demonstrate. So far, the crowd has elected a committee to facilitate the demonstration and submit the question of the Muslim Society to the government. The committee has been able to collect 80,000 signatures and has presented its demands to the government.

CI: What foreign powers have the greatest influence and why?

Ethiopian society has been a closed society for a long time. Ethiopians, especially the Christian North, have always taken themselves as God’s chosen, beautiful, courageous people that have never been colonized, with a unique civilization, alphabet and historical places. Therefore, they have always detested anything related to foreigners. However, this trend is changing. The rhetoric that “we are the chosen civilized people” is continuously challenged by drought and poverty. In urban areas, Hollywood has been very effective in brainwashing the youth and incubating Westernized ideas.

On the other hand, many educated Muslims have been busy searching for their identity and trying to reconcile modernity with religious values. In this regard, Muslim dominated countries have influenced the Ethiopian Muslim youth.

Apart from this, the government has been greatly influenced by the United States. The Ethiopian military forces have sacrificed their lives for a US proxy war in Somalia.

CI: Recently the Ethiopian government announced it will get involved in fighting al-Shabab in Somalia. Is it a move supported by the people? What will be the result of this involvement and is it in the interests of the Ethiopian state and society?

Ethiopian history is “a history of war”. In the last 20 years, the country has experienced one of the deadliest battles in Africa. It has also been fighting with many rebels such as the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) and the Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF), which fights for the secession of the Ethiopian Somali Region. In addition to this, the military has waged war against al-Shabab with the financial as well as logistical assistance of the US.

However, Ethiopians know the meaning of war better than any other neighboring country. Therefore, nobody supports war on any grounds except if there is a clear danger to the security of the country. Ethiopians do not believe that al-Shabab is a threat to Ethiopia. Rather, they believe that Ethiopians are fighting the war for the US.

CI: What is the current situation in regards to the conflict with the Oromo Liberation Front?

The Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) is one of the military organizations that fought the previous regime together with the current ruling party’s military wing. Before 1991, they had a strong alliance. However, after the demise of the previous regime in 1991, the two organizations were unable to agree on certain terms and the OLF was expelled from the country. Recently, the parliament approved a law declaring it a terrorist organization and therefore banning it. According to the new law, any activity related to this organization or reporting anything related to it in any media will be punishable by law. The government has also been able to create a rift in the political leadership of the organization and lure some of its leaders to abandon their struggle.

CI: What key issues do you expect will dominate the socio-political and economic scene in Ethiopia in the next five years?

The current condition of the country makes it very difficult to predict. Religious tensions have been growing. This has led to the burning of many religious places especially masjids and conflict between Muslims and Christians has been on the rise. These tensions will grow as long as genuine attention is not paid to the root causes. Muslims still face a serious problem to build masjids or practice their religion freely in some towns. Government officials still think that Muslims are outsiders and the country belongs to Christians only. Additionally, if the recent legal demands of the Muslims are not met, there could be prolonged conflict and enmity between the government and the Muslim society.

The upcoming election will also be one of the dominant political scenes. Many people are dissatisfied with the ruling party. Therefore, they will take the next election as an opportunity to show their dissatisfaction. This could happen only if the opposition parties become strong and active. The current leader of the country has also hinted he will resign from power. He has been in power for the last 20 years.

The relationship between the newly born South Sudan and Ethiopia could also dominate the scene. The Ethiopian government has been keen on supporting South Sudan in various ways. The two countries have signed a number of agreements. Many Ethiopians are also traveling to South Sudan for jobs.

An Up and Coming Female Breivik

by Keith Johnson
How do you cook up something like Ann Barnhardt?
Here’s a simple recipe:
Take two parts Pamela Geller
One part Michelle Bachman
Add a tablespoon of Terry Jones
Throw in a dash of Anders Breivik
Let chill
Notice the glazed over eyes and the lobotomized glare.
Where have I seen that look before? Oh, yeah…now I remember…

Like Breivik, Ann Barnhardt is the poster child for a new generation of Muslim haters who want to take their fight to the next level. She is the byproduct of incessant anti-Islamic propaganda that has destroyed her quality of life, stripped her of her feminine attributes and has rendered into a groveling servant of the Zionist construct.
In this video, Ann goes out of her way to provoke Muslim retaliation by inserting strips of bacon between pages of the Holy Qur’an. She then reads verses taken completely out of context as she pulls out the pages and stuffs them into a fire bowl.
Most of you don’t know who I’m talking about. Those who do might wonder why I’m wasting my time. Indulge me.
First of all, for those not familiar with this creature, I’ll try to give you a brief rundown. Ann Barnhardt is a failing commodities broker (ie: the the same kind of money changer that Christ railed against) from Colorado whose company website reads less like a serious business enterprise and more like a venue for her political rantings. She’s the kind of angry American that has become the new face of this ever-devolving thing known as the “patriot movement.” Like most other pseudo-patriots who subject themselves to the overwhelming stream of disinformation that is propagated over the Net, Ann is unfocused—misinformed—paranoid—delusional—and quite convinced that she is the only one who has a firm grasp of what’s going on.
But don’t take my word for it. Just ask her and she’ll tell you:
“Hello, my name is Ann Barnhardt, and I’m apparently one of the very, very last people left in Western civilization who possesses any quantity of brains and balls simultaneously.”
If you read her material, you will come to realize that Barnhardt considers herself an expert on just about everything: Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Nazism, Communism, genetics, astronomy, finance, world history, American history, foreign policy, law, politics, physics, forensics, animal husbandry, survivalism…even Saturday Night Live. And believe me, her expertise does not stop there.
Ann made a recent splash in the wake of the MF Global scandal after she announced to her clients that she was closing her doors.
“The reason for my decision to pull the plug was excruciatingly simple: I could no longer tell my clients that their monies and positions were safe in the futures and options markets – because they are not. And this goes not just for my clients, but for every futures and options account in the United States. The entire system has been utterly destroyed by the MF Global collapse. Given this sad reality, I could not in good conscience take one more step as a commodity broker, soliciting trades that I knew were unsafe or holding funds that I knew to be in jeopardy.”
In the same announcement, Ann points her finger at the culprits:
“A firm, led by a crony of the Obama regime, stole all of the non-margined cash held by customers of his firm. Let’s not sugarcoat this or make this crime seem “complex” and “abstract” by drowning ourselves in six-dollar words and uber-technical jargon. Jon Corzine STOLE the customer cash at MF Global. Knowing Jon Corzine, and knowing the abject lawlessness and contempt for humanity of the Marxist Obama regime and its cronies, this is not really a surprise.”
This announcement was widely circulated on the Internet and was discussed on both the Glenn Beck Program and the Rush Limbaugh Show. As a result, Ann has emerged as a minor celebrity in the patriot community. Some may say that her fifteen minutes of fame are all used up. But I say they’re wrong.
I love reading Ann’s diatribes because they put into context everything that is wrong with the mainstream “patriot movement.” For example, Ann—like most patriots—is quite capable of spotting a crisis, as she does here:
“China is not going to lend us this money because they simply don’t have anything close to that much money to lend. This $2 Trillion is going to come from the Federal Reserve. Where is the Federal Reserve going to get $2 Trillion? They are going to print it out of thin air. We are in the midst of the largest currency debasement ever seen in human history. There is only one result that can come of currency debasement: hyperinflation and total economic and societal collapse.”
But when it comes to identifying the source of the problem, Ann’s brain cells hit a brick wall.
“Obama is the enemy. Obama is a Marxist-Communist usurper and puppet front for a cabal of Marxist-Communists who are actively trying to destroy the United States of America. Everything they have done, are doing, and will do has the single goal of collapsing and destroying the U.S. economy, military, constitutional government and culture. What part of “Marxist Revolution” do you not understand?”
Get it? “Obama is a Marxist-Communist usurper and puppet.”  How does that in any way translate into Islam? Marxist-communism is a Jewish construct, and Ann’s business failures are a direct result of Jewish usary, though she fails to make that distinction.
Instead, she insists that the Jews are the tits on a false portrait of Christ’s swimmer’s physique:
“Now everyone listen up, Jew, Christian, atheist – everyone. The foundational premise of the Jewish people and of Israel is that Israel is the representative proxy for humanity. This is why the Jews are called “the chosen people”, because they are. God chose Israel to stand in representation of all people everywhere. This is an honor, but it is a taxing and dubious honor due to the Fall of Adam and Eve and the inherent tendency that all people have for sin, which is called concupiscence. God chose Israel to stand at the fore of humanity and be the people with whom the historical narrative of Salvation History is played out. This began with a married couple, Adam and Eve, and then expanded to a family unit through Noah, then the expansion moved to the tribal level through Abraham, the national level through Moses, then to the level of a kingdom through David, and finally in the fullness of time the expansion moved beyond Israel to cover all people everywhere through Jesus Christ. BUT, the only way to fully understand God’s relationship with us as individuals is to understand God’s interaction with Israel through history.”
Christ to Ann on Judgment Day: Matthew 7:23–”I never knew you; depart from me.”
