Physics, Psychology and the 9/11 Decade

By the 10th anniversary of 9/11 the 42nd anniversary of the Moon landing will have passed.  Newtonian physics will be 324 years old.  Newton’s Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica was published on July 5th of 1687 and the first Moon landing was July 20th of 1969.  How can the major events of 9/11 not be fully explained by September 11th of 2011?

Jonathan Kay with his book, Among the Truthers, does the same thing as Penn and Teller with their television program.  They associated 9/11 Truthers with faked Moon landing conspiracy theorists.  Kay has a flying saucer abduction and an Illuminati pyramid portrayed on the cover of his book along with the twin towers and an airliner.  He is implying that questioning 9/11 puts the questioner into the same category with UFO nuts.  What does the media have most people thinking about 9/11 and skyscrapers regardless of the physics?

Getting to the Moon was Newtonian physics.  Isaac Newton could have done the calculations for the project 300 years ago.  The physics of an airliner crashing into a skyscraper and that skyscraper being collapsed straight down by the portion above the impact can’t be more complicated than getting to the Moon.  But every skyscraper must accomplish certain tasks before they can be hit by airplanes.  Skyscrapers must hold themselves up for their entire height therefore every level must be strong enough to support the combined weights of all levels above.  So the designers must determine how much steel is necessary to accomplish that, which means the amount of steel increases down the height of every very tall building.

The cores of WTC 1 and WTC 2 had 47 columns.  The 10,000 page NCSTAR1 report by the NIST says the cores supported 53% of each building’s weight.  But since most levels were 12 feet high that meant there were 564 feet of vertical steel in each level of the core.  But there were horizontal beams connecting the columns on each level of the core also.  The cores were 136 by 86 feet.  Since the columns were not in an even 6 by 8 minus 1 array the arrangement must have been more complicated but the layout of the beams is never shown by any official source.  The horizontal steel should still consist of about 6 times 136 feet plus 8 times 86 feet, which comes to 1504 feet of steel.  So on every level of the core there should have been about 2.5 times as many feet of horizontal steel as there were of vertical steel.  But how much did it all weigh?

The steel in the columns was as little as 1/4th of an inch thick at the top of the towers but as much as 5 inches thick at the bottom.  In addition to greater thickness the box columns were longer and wider than the H-beams at the top.  But how much did the thickness of the horizontal steel beams change down the building?  That is another unknown we have to live with after ten years.  But why are we living with it?  Why weren’t physicists and structural engineers demanding that information and telling everyone within weeks of 9/11?

Regardless of who destroyed the towers or why, an analysis of the physics would require accurate information about the state of the buildings before the impacts.  The NIST admits in three places that information on the distribution of weight in the towers is necessary to analyze the impact.  But then they didn’t do that analysis.  They had empirical data.  They measured the deflection and oscillation of the south tower with recordings from a digital camera up to the 70th floor because the vertical columns on the outside of the building created a moving pattern with the pixels in the camera.  The skyscraper deflected 12 inches at the 70th floor even though the plane impacted at the 81st.  It must have moved about 15 inches at the impact level.  After the impact the tower oscillated for approximately four minutes in progressively smaller deviations.  So how could the bottom of the upper portion completely break loose and move horizontally more than 20 feet 50 minutes later?  Where was the center of gravity?  Where was the center of rotation?  What was the moment of inertia?  Where are the physicists asking about that?

What happened in New York on 9/11 was so unique and phenomenal one would think physicists would be fascinated and never let go of it until it was resolved.  But that appears to not be the case.  If anything there seems to be a deafening silence on the part of most physicists.  Consequently we have had nearly TEN YEARS of rhetorical and psychological nonsense.  We have the Orthodox 9/11 Religion versus the Heretical 9/11 Psychosis.  On the one hand 1360 foot skyscrapers collapsed straight down in less than 18 seconds and this miracle is supposed to be believed even though accurate data on the distributions of steel and concrete are not provided by official sources so the conservation of momentum can be reasonably analyzed.  IT’S A MIRACLE!  On the other hand shadow government agents used holographic planes to teleport explosives into the buildings with particle beams.  Or were they mini-nukes?  IT’S A TINFOIL MIRACLE!

But this is the nation that put men on the Moon.  The Empire State Building, which is only 3 miles from Ground Zero, will have its 80th anniversary this year.  What kind of electronic computers were used in 1929 to design a building that is still among the top 20 tallest in the world?   IBM had its 100th anniversary this year but there were no electronic computers in 1929.   Regardless of who or why or how it should be possible to definitively determine if NORMAL AIRLINERS could destroy buildings 2000 times their mass in less than TWO HOURS.  But no, we are treated to pictures of flying saucer abductions and can’t even be told how many tons of steel were on each level within 5 stories of the airliner impacts.

Purdue has given us a computer simulation which they claim is scientific.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gH02Eh44yUg

But the core columns do not move in that simulation when the plane impacts.  This contradicts the behavior which the NIST documents for the south tower.  Is Purdue telling us that the conservation of momentum is unscientific?  The effect of mass and its distribution on a vertical flexible body can be easily demonstrated.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0kUICwO93Q

Then there is the effect of impacts from above on self supporting masses.  The north tower was hit by the plane at the 95th floor.  So there were 15 stories above that point and 94 below.

A simple simulation would be to remove the simulated levels 91, 92, 93, 94 and 95. That would leave a 60 foot gap with 15 stories floating in the air and 90 intact simulated stories below. Let simulated gravity take its course. The bottom of the falling 15 stories would impact the top of the 90 in just under 2 seconds at 44 mph.

The levels get stronger and heavier going down and lighter and weaker going up.  Even at a 3 to 1 ratio of destruction, which I regard as extremely unlikely, that would leave 45 stories standing.  That destruction would require energy.  The only source is the kinetic energy of the falling 15 stories.  They would slow down.  Completely eliminating 5 stories is more destruction than the airliner impact and fires could have accomplished. So if that simulation comes nowhere near complete collapse then what is with this nonsense that has been going on for approaching TEN YEARS?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZT4BXIpdIdo

Grade school kids could build that and test it to their hearts content.  Computers must be told how to compute physics and it must be coded perfectly or else they can get it wrong.  Real models cannot escape real physics.  The problem with small models is being too strong in relation to their own weight because of the square cube law.  Engineering schools that charge $100,000 for four years of education should be able to afford to test larger models.  Where is the engineering school that has built a physical model that can completely collapse?  Maybe they don’t find 9/11 interesting.

The Laws of Physics are incapable of giving a damn about psychology.  But this nearly ten year 9/11 phenomenon is extremely psychological.  What do psychologists know about Newtonian physics?  It is much older than Sigmund Freud.  If the physics dictates that the towers could not collapse straight down then physicists should have figured it out long ago.  If the physics makes it possible then they should have explained it in detail long ago.  But wouldn’t that involve having accurate data on the distributions of steel and concrete in the towers?  So where are the physicists demanding the information?

But if the planes could not possibly have caused that much destruction and the majority of people around the world believe that they did, then the physicists have created a problem for themselves with their years of silence and the media has created a problem with its years of noise.  How do they expect to teach physics for the next 1000 years?  Do they really just want to pretend that Newtonian physics is extremely difficult and expect everyone else to just believe what they are told?  But 9/11 has been a catalyst for war and people with the credentials to supposedly explain this nonsense have allowed the chain reaction to engulf other countries.

Can this go on for another ten years?

There are a couple of amusing things about this fantasy event however.  There are two science fiction novels written before 9/11 which contain incidents which are easily comparable to 9/11.  One is Flag in Exile by David Weber from 1995 and the other is Komarr by Lois McMaster Bujold published in 1998.  Weber’s book has a dome collapse which is supposed to appear to be due to incompetence or corruption even though it was actually sabotage.  There is significant discussion of computer simulations which eventually uncover how the sabotage was done.  Komarr has a collision between a spacecraft and a huge satellite.  Again there are computer simulations which uncover peculiarities that cannot be explained by “classical physics”.  Though not deliberate sabotage there was an unknown technological factor added by unknown individuals.  But in these fictional universes the mysteries are solved in days or weeks not years.  Weber’s book also involves a propaganda campaign about the event so a psychological factor is incorporated into the plot.

So if airliners could not cause that much destruction then 9/11 is the Piltdown Man incident of the 21st century and the physics profession has a serious problem.

Can their silence make it go away?

The Hindu Eager to drag Al-Qaeda to India

It’s called Hinduzionism… that’s one word… hinduzionism….

Praveen Swami is eager to drag Al-Qaeda to India. Beware, this IB steno is back in town, so is our doubt about The Hindu’s credibility.
By Zafarul-Islam Khan, The Milli Gazette
Published Online: Jun 28, 2011
Print Issue: 1-15 July 2011
The Hindu of Chennai has largely remained a sober publication having nuanced editorial line and sensible reporting and stand on issues. It has also avoided the pornographic pit into which most other publications have fallen in Rupert Murdoch era. But during the last few years, it allowed a blot to besmirch its image by swallowing fabrications vomited by its fake ‘terrorism expert’, Praveen Swami.
This chap was a sober investigative journo until he spent some time in United States Institute of Peace in Washington, in 2004-2005 and came back fully converted to the American weltanschauung and started making his tuppence contribution to America’s Islamophobic crusade which was conveniently lapped up by Hindutva warriors at home and made state policy thanks to BJP’s rule at the Centre. A senior Hindu journo told me some three years back that Swami is tolerated by The Hindu because of his close links with Intelligence Bureau which enables him to get scoops… In other words, Swami was passing off IB manufactured stuff as serious news. Any self-respecting paper would reject to be used by security and intelligence agencies in this manner and would sack such a hack right away but for N. Ram, Swami was a valuable asset… Years ago we at MG got an offer through an intermediary from the Army in Kashmir to print “good news” supplied by them for which they would pay us Rs. 40,000 per month! A very good proposition for a struggling publication but it did not take me a minute to reject it then and there…
Praveen Swami (inset) again graces the pages of The Hindu
Many sections of society had taken umbrage at Swami’s fabrications, yet he was stubbornly retained by The Hindu and allowed liberal space, often writing two stories on same day. He saw Muslims lurking behind every terror attack in India including ones which are now proven crimes of Hindutva terrorists.
Swami was fiercely criticized for his reliance on intelligence sources about alleged “Islamic terrorism” which were largely incorrect. Jamia Teachers’ Solidarity Association (JITSA), a New Delhi-based organization of teachers of the Jamia Millia Islamia (a central university) harshly criticized Swami for his fictitious reporting on Batla House encounter case. In their detailed critique of Swami, JITSA said that his report on Batla House Encounter Case was wrong and the post-mortem report of the slain terrorists released by India’s premier medical institute, AIIMS, suggested that the encounter was staged. Swami had been insisting in his reports that the slain students were killed in a real encounter. Swami’s association with The Hindu Group enraged many people who undertook an offensive against Praveen Swami by initiating Face Book group called ‘Shut Up Praveen Swami’ and a series of articles exposing Swami’s stories as “fabulous”. Swami’s critique in JITSA’s “Praveen Swami’s Not So Fabulous Fables” gave a detailed account of manufacturing of evidences by Praveen Swami only to support Indian security agencies. A desperate Swami shot back by responding against all criticism in his response to the publishing websites and people which his friend Annie Zaidi published in her blog. He attacked all campaigns against himself. However, another serious response from JITSA titled “Swami And Friends” went unresponded by Swami.
Last year, perhaps on leave from The Hindu, Swami joined the London Telegraph, UK’s Islamophobic newspaper resembling our Pioneer under Chandan Mitra. But he rarely got bylines in the British paper and seems to have landed back in his The Hindu cabin though The Telegraph still shows him on its staff (http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/author/praveenswami/) while his Twitter account showed him on 22 June as based in New Delhi (http://twitter.com/#!/praveenswami).
Al-Qaeda’s announcement of Dr Al-Zawahiri as its new chief on 16 June offered Swami his opportunity for a fresh debut in The Hindu, not with one but two reports in the same issue, both occupying the best space any journo would dream, courtesy the editor of course. The first report, which is the main news on page one (17 June), shrieks that “India could be key target of new Al-Qaeda chief” and, hold your breath, the source of this gem, mentioned in the very first paragraph of the report, is the good old “intelligence sources”. Swami then regurgitates some stale vomit about Al-Qaeda’s warnings to India [always in Kashmir’s context] and announces that the new Al-Qaeda chief will use Pakistani allies, whose enmity of India is well-known according to Swami who shows it as a result of the infighting in the terrorist organisation’s ranks. Let us be clear: the new Al-Qaeda chief himself has not made any such announcement and our own highest authorities here, both at the Centre and in J&K, have on a number of occasions reiterated that Al-Qaeda has no presence in India but that does not matter as terrorist scare-mongering sells well these days both in India and the US. Swami’s other piece is an Op Ed which is clearly an old piece which the terror warrior fished out of his computer files. It contains such jewels as the claim that Al-Zawahiri joined Muslim Brotherhood at the age of 14!
Swami, the terror-salesman, has no time to stop to read mountains of material and evidence which shows that Al-Qaeda is an American creation having no existence in the real world. He and his American tutors have no willingness to know the truth. Al-Qaeda is an idea, Mr. Swami, and the many groups you see here and there are only inspired by an idea because of the injustices of the US of A. And, Swami or no Swami, this idea has not attracted Indian Muslims in the least.

ISRAEL ~ BORN OF TERRORISM, NOURISHED BY BLOOD

The West forgets that Israel is founded on blood and terrorism.
THE TERRORIST STATE THAT IS ISRAEL
THIS PIECE IS DEDICATED TO ALL WHO SAY HAMAS STARTED THE SITUATION BETWEEN ISRAEL AND PALESTINE ESPECIALLY IN REGARDS TO THIS LATEST HOLOCAUST FROM DECEMBER 28, 2008 ~ JANUARY 18, 2009. THIS IS TO ALL WHO CLAIM HAMAS BROKE THE PEACE FIRE, AND ARE TERRORISTS FROM HADES. I DO NOT DEFEND HAMAS IN THE LEAST, BUT IT WOULD BE GOOD FOR THOSE WHO LIVE IN DENIAL TO LEARN. PRETEND TO BE A PALESTINIAN FOR JUST A SHORT TIME AND IMAGINE YOUR REACTION TO THE THINGS I LIST BELOW GOING ON AND ON WITH NO HOPE FOR AN ENDING!
WHEN I BEGAN THIS PIECE, I HAD NO IDEA THAT THE LIST WOULD BE SO LONG! AND IT IS QUITE INCOMPLETE! BUT IF ONE REALLY WANTS TO KNOW THE TRUTH START HERE AND THEN DO YOUR HOMEWORK. WHAT AMAZES ME IS HOW BRITAIN, AMERICA AND EGYPT HAVE FORGIVEN ISRAEL FOR CRIMES AGAINST THEIR OWN PEOPLE, JUST A FEW OF WHICH ARE LISTED HERE.
EARLY ISRAELI TERRORIST GROUPS
Soon after the end of World War II, there were three basic para-military Zionist organizations in Palestine, working against the Arab people, with the specific purpose of driving it out of Palestine. These were the Haganah, the Irgun Zvai Leumi, and the Stern Gang.
Gaza is full-scale war but just the latest bloodstained episode in Israel’s six-decade reign of terror against Palestinians. Here you will learn about others since 1946, two years before the establishment of a Jewish state. The list is long, VERY incomplete, very disturbing, and shows what Palestinians and so many others in the Middle East have endured for well over 60 years. This extermination policy is much more openly pursued on the West Bank and Gaza, with the heavily controlled international media telling the story as Israel and complicit governments wish it to be told. Always, little Israel is defending itself from the powerful hateful Arabian people.

Very interestingly, these participants are proud of their past actions and insist they were not terrorists but merely working towards an honourable goal, the removal of all Arabs from Palestine for the creation of the state of Israel on stolen and confiscated land. To quote one of these men, “We did not mind being called terrorists back then because we used brutal force to get rid of them.” Interesting that this nation, built on blood, terrorist nation and rogue, cries foul at small rockets fired by their victims and then uses this as an excuse to erase thousands of civilians because “Hamas” is involved.

Before the British Mandate, the Jewish settlers had formed a group of mounted armed watchmen called Hashomar and with the advent of the British Mandate, it became the Haganah (Defense). With a membership of 60,000 Zionist Jews, the Haganah had a field army of 16,000 trained men and a unit called the Palmach, which was a full-time force, numbering about 6000.
The Irgun Zvai Leumi included between 3000 and 5000 armed terrorists, and grew out of the Haganah and its Palmach branch in 1933. The Irgun was not ready to obey the Jewish Agency which sought to dilute the terror of the Haganah in order not to lose its respectability.

In 1939, one of Irgun’s commanding officers, Abraham Stern, left the parent organization and formed the Stern Gang, numbering some 200 to 300 dangerous fanatics. Future Prime Ministers of Israel began their careers in these gangs.
ZIONIST TERRORIST ACTIVITIES 1939 ~ 2007
1939 ~ Haganah blew up the Iraqi oil pipeline near Haifa. Moshe Dayan was one of the participants in the act. This technique was used again in 1947 at least 4 times.
August 20, 1937 ~ June 29, 1939 During this period, Zionists carried out a series of attacks against Arab buses, resulting in the death of 24 persons and wounding 25 others.
1939 ~ Jerusalem Post OfficeNovember 25, 1940 ~ S.S.Patria was blown up by Jewish terrorists in Haifa harbour, killing 268 illegal Jewish immigrants. The explosion was the work of the Jewish underground army, the Haganah, who had meant only to damage the ship to prevent it sailing but had miscalculated the amount of explosives needed to disable the ship. Many say that this was no miscalculation and was deliberate murder of Jews by Jews, in an attempt to influence British immigration policy to Palestine.
February 24, 1942 ~ S.S. Struma exploded in the Black Sea, killing 769 illegal Jewish immigrants. Described by the Jewish Agency as an act of “mass-protest and mass-suicide.”
November 6, 1944 ~ Zionist terrorists of the Stern Gang assassinated the British Minister Resident in the Middle East, Lord Moyne, in Cairo.

July 22, 1946 ~ Zionist terrorists blew up the King David Hotel in Jerusalem, which housed the central offices of the civilian administration of the government of Palestine, killing or injuring more than 200 persons. The Menachem Begin-led Irgun planned and conducted the massacre of 92 Brits, Arabs and Jews, wounding 58 others.
As head of the Jewish Agency, David Ben-Gurion approved the operation. It was to destroy British-gathered evidence that its leaders colluded with the Haganah, Palmach, Irgun and Stern gangs in a wave of terrorist crimes and killings. Bombing the King David Hotel was the most notorious and followed a pattern before and since of brutal Israeli state terrorism.

October 1, 1946 ~ The British Embassy in Rome was badly damaged by bomb explosions, for which Irgun claimed responsibility.

June 1947 ~ Letters sent to British Cabinet Ministers were found to contain bombs.

September 3, 1947 ~ A postal bomb addressed to the British War Office exploded in the post office sorting room in London, injuring 2 persons. It was attributed to Irgun or Stern Gangs. (The Sunday Times, Sept. 24, 1972, p.8)
By now, PLAN DALETH was in full swing. As expulsions and massacres gathered pace, the Zionist leaders discussed and finally adopted what was known as Plan Daleth which gave clear orders to commanders of the Haganah ~ the Zionists’ main military force ~ on how to deal with Palestinians:
“These operations can be carried out either by destroying villages by setting fire to them, by blowing them up and by planting mines in their rubble, and especially those population centres which are difficult to control permanently; or by mounting combing and control operations according to the following guidelines; encirclement of the villages, conducting a search inside them. In case of resistance, the armed forces must be wiped out and the population expelled outside the borders of the state.”
December 11, 1947 ~ Six Arabs were killed and 30 wounded when bombs were thrown from Jewish trucks at Arab buses in Haifa; 12 Arabs were killed and others injured in an attack by armed Zionists on an Arab coastal village near Haifa. In the city of Haifa, Zionist forces began rolling barrels of explosives into Palestinian neighbourhoods and poured burning oil into the streets. They then machine gunned residents who tried to put out the flames.
December 13,1947 ~ Zionist terrorists, believed to be members of Irgun Zvai Leumi, killed 18 Arabs and wounded nearly 60 in Jerusalem, Jaffa and Lydda areas. In Jerusalem, bombs were thrown in an Arab market-place near the Damascus Gate; in Jaffa, bombs were thrown into an Arab cafe; in the Arab village of Al Abbasya, near Lydda, 12 Arabs were killed in an attack with mortars and automatic weapons.
December 19, 1947 ~ Haganah terrorists attacked an Arab village near Safad, IN Gallilee, blowing up two houses in the dead of night as the family slept. In the ruins of which were found the bodies of 10 Arabs, including 5 children. Haganah admitted responsibility for the attackas well as other similar attacks at that time.
A map of a small village that exists no longer, Yafur.
December 29, 1947 ~ Two British constables and 11 Arabs were killed and 32 Arabs injured, at the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem when Irgun members threw a bomb from a taxi.
December 30,1947 ~ A mixed force of the Zionist Palmach and the Carmel Brigade attacked the village of Balad al Sheikh, killing more than 60 Arabs.
George Galloway interviews
Jewish historian Ilan Pappe about Nakkba.
1947 – 1948 ~ Nakhba! ~ Over 700,000 -800,000 Palestinian Arabs were uprooted from their homes and land; since then, they have been denied the right to return or been given compensation for their property. After their expulsion, the Israeli Forces razed to the ground 385 Arab villages and towns out of a total of 475, and obliterated their remains. Eventually, Israeli villages, Kibbutzim and towns were built on the remaining rubble.
Newly arrived Jewish women walk through the rubble of their new home.
Israel has never acknowledged the right of Palestinian refugees to return because it knows that such a return would spoil its project of maintaining a Jewish majority within its borders. These refugees do not pose a threat to Jewish communities within Israel, but rather to the Israeli state ideology which leaves no room for a non-Jewish identity within Israel. Israel’s goal has never been to be a democracy for its citizens, but rather a Jewish democracy.

Note the absence of men who were sent to labor or concentration camps.
December 13, 1947 – February 10, 1948 ~ Seven incidents of bomb-tossing at innocent Arab civilians in cafes and markets, killing 138 and wounding 271 others, During this period, there were 9 attacks on Arab buses. Zionists mined passenger trains on at least 4 occasions, killing 93 persons and wounding 161 others.
January 1, 1948 ~ Haganah terrorists attacked a village on the slopes of Mount Carmel; 17 Arabs were killed and 33 wounded.
January 4, 1948 ~ Haganah terrorists wearing British Army uniforms penetrated into the center of Jaffa and blew up the Serai (the old Turkish Government House) which was used as a headquarters of the Arab National Committee, killing more than 40 persons and wounding 98 others.

New Jewish neighbours, fresh from the camps exchange
greetings amongst the ruins of a previously flourishing Palestinian village.

January 5, 1948 ~ The Arab-owned Semiramis Hotel in Jerusalem was blown up, killing 20 persons, among them Viscount de Tapia, the Spanish Consul. Haganah admitted responsibility for this crime.
January 7, 1948 ~ Seventeen Arabs were killed by a bomb at the Jaffa Gate in Jerusalem, 3 of them while trying to escape. Further casualties, including the murder of a British officer near Hebron, were reported from different parts of the country.
PLEASE GO TO THIS PAGE ON WHICH YOU WILL FIND A LIST OF, AND LINKS TO, MANY VIDEOS SHOWING THE REMAINS OF HISTORIC VILLAGES, DEMOLISHED DURING NAKHBA UP TO TODAY. THESE FILMS WERE MADE BY JEWISH FRIENDS OF THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE.

April 9, 1948 ~ A combined force of Irgun Zvai Leumi and the Stern Gang, supported by the Palmach forces, captured the Arab village of Deir Yassin and killed more than 200 unarmed civilians, including countless women and children. Older men and young women were captured and paraded in chains in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem; 20 of the hostages were then shot in the quarry of Gevaat Shaul. The perpetrators hoped to terrify their neighbours into flight, thus speeding up the process of expulsion.

April 16, 1948 ~ Zionists attacked the former British army camp at Tel Litvinsky, killing 90 Arabs there.
April 19, 1948 ~ Fourteen Arabs were killed in a house in Tiberius, which was blown up by Zionist terrorists. There was also wholesale looting of Jaffa carried out following armed attacks by Irgun and Haganah terrorists. They plundered and carried away everything they could, destroying what they could not take with them.

November 1948 ~ November, the Christian Arab villages of Igrit and Birim were attacked and destroyed, killing and injuring countless unarmed civilians, including women and children. All the Christian Arab inhabitants were forcibly expelled from their homes. The State of Israel still refuses to allow them to return to their villages despite several court orders.

February 1949 ~ All the Arabs were forcibly expelled from their homes in the villages of Anan and Kafr Yasif by Haganah terrorists.
1950 ~ Zionist agents threw bombs at a synagogue in Baghdad, Iraq, and other Jewish targets in order to pressure Jews into emigrating to Israel.

August 28, 1953 ~ Armed Israelis attacked the UNRWA refugee camp at Bureij in the Gaza Strip. The Israelis threw grenades through the windows of the huts and gunned down the fleeing refugees, killing 30 and wounding 62 others.

A recently arrived Jew looks around the ruins left behind, now his home.
October 29, 1956 ~ Forty-seven Arab inhabitants, including 7 children and 9 women were massacred by Israeli border guards in the village of Kufr Kassem. The guards arrived and announced that there would be a curfew as of 5 p.m. that very evening. Most of the men were working in the fields and did not know of the curfew. When they returned in the evening, they were summarily shot.

June 6, 1967 ~ On June 8, 1967, during the Six Day War, Israeli forces attacked the USS Liberty, a U.S. Navy intelligence-gathering ship off the coast of Gaza, killing 35 men and wounding 171. Not only was the attack was intentional, but President Johnson recalled the Sixth Fleet rescue flights to avoid a clash between the U.S. and Israel. This has indeed proven to be the case. This cooperative action was intended to move the American people to join Israel in its war with Egypt.

USS Liberty, listing badly, limping to safety a day later.
US Navy Court of Inquiry finding 24: “From the time of first air attack onward, [the Israeli Air Force] attackers were well coordinated, accurate and determined. Criss-crossing rocket and machine gun [30mm rapid-firing cannon] runs from both bows, both beams, and quarters effectively chewed up entire topside including ship control and internal communications (sound powered) network. Well directed initial air attacks had wiped out the ability of the four 50 cal. machine guns to be effective.”

1981 September ~ Car bombs began to regularly terrorize Muslim West Beirut as strategy to evict the PLO from Lebanon. The Mossad was sponsoring the carnage.

The Israeli air raids inside Lebanon killed 20 civilians in Saida’s residential area, 150 in Fakhani and another 150 in the Beirut Arab University area in 1981.

Summer, 1982 ~ Israel invaded Lebanon. So massive were the bombing raids on Beirut in August of 1982, on the orders of Defense Minister Ariel Sharon, that some 20,000 civilians were killed.

September 16, 1982 ~ Sharon sent the Maronite Christian Phalangist murder squads into two Palestinian refugee camps, Sabra and Chatila. With Israeli tanks and troops closely surrounding the camps to prevent anyone from escaping, the murder squads machine-gunned, bayoneted, and bludgeoned Palestinian civilians all that night, the next day and the following night while the Israelis surrounding the camps listened gleefully to the machine gun fires and screams coming from inside.

Sharon then sent in bulldozers to hide as much of the atrocity as he could. Some 1500 to 2500 Palestinian men, women and children were butchered. Even after the efforts of Sharon’s bulldozers, many Palestinians remained unburied, and the Red Cross workers discovered entire families, including hundreds of elderly and little children, with their throats cut or disemboweled. Uncounted numbers of women and girls were also raped before they were slaughtered. [An Israeli investigation in 1983 found Sharon indirectly but “personally” responsible for the deaths, and he was forced to resign.]

This terrorist act was praised by many rabbis. During the demonstrations that followed, the IDF forces opened with live fire arms on the demonstrators, killing 23 and wounding hundreds ~ the exact casualty figures were never released.

Following the incident, Israel imposed a 5-week long curfew during which 76 Palestinians, mostly stone-throwing children, were killed. The Israeli government later gave permission for a memorial to be constructed in honor of Goldstein.

On the Palestinian side, 11 were killed, 200 injured; on the Israeli side a soldier was killed and 21 were injured, along with an Israeli settler.

April 11, 1996 ~ Israel launched Operation Grapes of Wrath by attacking southern Lebanon, killing nearly 170 civilians. So massive were the bombing raids that nearly half a million residents fled the area. The IDF bombed the UN shelter for refugees at Qana, Lebanon, killing at least 106 civilians. Mahmoud Abu Hanoud, murdered because he fought for the two-state
solution which Israel wishes to avoid at all costs. Removal of
moderate leaders will drive Palestinians to the fanatics,
giving Israel its extremist enemy.

November 23, 2001 ~ Mahmoud Abu Hanoud was assassinated when Israelis bombed the car in which he was traveling near Nablus. Upon Hanoud’s death it was said, “While the Israelis say they’ve always gone after ‘terrorist’ targets, they have, in fact, also gone after those members of the Palestinian leadership who have two important attributes: One, they were interested in a two-state solution, and two, they were the kind of people who were strong enough to be the peace party in Palestinian leadership. Most of these guys have been killed. The Israeli strategy is to kill the moderate Palestinians as well as militants and send this thing careening towards an endgame where Israel has the extremist enemy it wants. Sharon is driving Palestinian society more and more to the right, to the fanatics, which is calculated to create the results he wants. In 1923, radical Zionist Ze’ev Jabotinsky-spiritual father of not only of Menachem Begin but of Meir Kahane-wrote that the “sole way” for Jews to deal with Arabs in Palestine was through ‘total avoidance of all attempts to arrive at a settlement’ ~ which Jabotinsky euphemistically termed the “‘ron wall’ approach. Not coincidentally, a picture of Jabotinsky graces Sharon’s desk

December 10, 2001 ~ Palestinian activist Muhammad Sidir, 24, was hit by a missile dropped in a crowded intersection. Two Palestinian children died in the attacks and two other children were injured. January 14, 2002 ~ Israeli terrorists planted a bomb outside the Tulkarm home of Palestinian resistance leader Raed al-Karmi, killing him. He is shown above with a bandaged wound incurred in an earlier Israeli attempt on his life.

The remains of the car bomb that killed Elie Hobeika.

January 24, 2002 ~ Elie Hobeika, a Lebanese national, was a key witness in the Sabra-Chatila war crimes case being pursued in a Belgian court against Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon. Hobeika was blown up outside his house in Beirut together with three bodyguards and a civilian bystander. The car-bomb was the work of professional assassins in the employ of Mossad. The explosion occurred two days after Hobeika agreed to give evidence against Sharon. Marwan Hamadeh, the Lebanese minister for refugees stated,”My initial evaluation is that of course Israel doesn’t want witnesses against it in this historic case in Belgium.” Israeli Prime Minister Terrorist Sharon dismissed the charges: “I am simply saying, from our point of view, we have no link to this subject at all, and this is not worthy of a comment,” Sharon told reporters.

September to December of 2001 ~ Some 200 Palestinian children were killed and 400 injured by the Israeli forces. Sixty Palestinian homes in Gaza were destroyed as part of a collective punishment for the death of 4 Israeli soldiers.

March 6-16, 2002 ~ Some 200 Palestinian civilians were slaughtered in Jabalya refugee camp in the Gaza Strip by Israeli forces.

March 30, 2002 ~ Five Palestinian bank guards executed in Ramallah by the Israeli soldiers.

April 3-11, 2002 ~ IDF massacred at least 52 Palestinian civilians. So brutal was the Israeli action that the HRW castigated Israel to have “committed serious violations of international humanitarian law, some amounting prima facie to war crimes.” Amnesty International, in its November 4, 2002 report on Jenin and Nablus similarly alleged that Israel had committed war crimes. Specifically, the reports stated that unlawful killings occurred; there was a failure to ensure medical or humanitarian relief; demolition of houses and property occurred; water and electricity supplies to civilians were cut; torture or other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment in arbitrary detention occurred; and Palestinians civilians were used for military operations or as “human shields.” In addition, the Amnesty report charged that civilians were not warned before their houses were demolished and hence they were buried in the rubble.

July 15, 2006 ~ The IDF, shortly before its invasion of Lebanon, in an official response to the kidnapping of one of its soldiers by the Hamas militants near the Gaza Strip, undertook a severe raid, in which at least 60 civilians were killed and hundreds injured. Israeli planes bombed an electrical power distribution facility, knocking out power to half of the Gaza Strip, and knocking out water pumping stations, leaving much of the Strip without potable water. Bridges linking the northern and southern halves of the Gaza strip were bombed, and border crossings were closed, putting at risk the civilian population of the Strip, which is totally dependent on supplies of food and fuel brought in through the border crossings with Israel.

July-August 2006 ~ The Israeli Air Force bombed Lebanon for 34 days, killing some 1,300 civilians. So sadistic was the bombing campaign, Lebanon was dubbed to have been “bombed into the stone age.” Lebanon’s infrastructure was destroyed.

November 8, 2006 ~ The IDF shelled a row of houses in the Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanoun, killing 19 Palestinians and wounding more than 40. Italy’s foreign minister Massimo D’Alema called the shelling of the civilians deliberate.

The 2007 Amnesty International Report for the year ending in December of 2006 stated, “Increased violence between Israelis and Palestinians resulted in a threefold increase in killings of Palestinians by Israeli forces. The number of Israelis killed by Palestinian armed groups diminished by half. More than 650 Palestinians, including some 120 children, and 27 Israelis were killed. Israeli forces carried out air and artillery bombardments in the Gaza Strip, and Israel continued to expand illegal settlements and to build a 700-km fence/wall on Palestinian land in the Occupied Territories.

Military blockades and increased restrictions imposed by Israel on the movement of Palestinians and the confiscation by Israel of Palestinian customs duties caused a significant deterioration in living conditions for Palestinian inhabitants in the Occupied Territories, with poverty, food aid dependency, health problems and unemployment reaching crisis levels. Israeli soldiers and settlers committed serious human rights abuses, including unlawful killings, against Palestinians, mostly with impunity.

Thousands of Palestinians were arrested by Israeli forces throughout the Occupied Territories on suspicion of security offenses and hundreds were held in administrative detention.

Israeli conscientious objectors continued to be imprisoned for refusing to serve in the army. In a 34-day war against Hezbollah in Lebanon in July-August, Israeli forces committed serious violations of international humanitarian law, including war crimes. Israeli bombardments killed nearly 1,200 people, and destroyed or damaged tens of thousands of homes and other civilian infrastructure. Israeli forces also littered south Lebanon with around a million unexploded cluster bombs which continued to kill and maim civilians after the conflict.”

June 1, 2007 ~ Israeli troops shot and killed two 13-year-old Palestinians ~Ahmed Abu Zbeida and Zaher al-Majdalawi ~ near the Gaza-Israel border fence, saying that they were crawling toward the barrier in a “suspicious manner.” The boys had told their families they were going to the beach. (The Guardian, June 1, 2007)

In its year-end review of Israeli violence against Palestinian people, the Israeli Human Rights Organization B’tselem stated that in 2007, up to 29 December, Israeli security forces killed 373 Palestinians ~ 290 in Gaza, 83 in the West Bank, 53 among them minors.

By comparison, in 2006, 657 Palestinians were killed, including 140 minors: 523 in Gaza, 134 in the West Bank.

In 2007, there was an increase of 13 % in the number of Palestinians held in administrative detention without trial, which averaged 830 people. Sixty-six staffed checkpoints and 459 physical roadblocks on average controlled movement inside the West Bank, thus hindering Palestinians’ freedom of movement.

Israel continued the freeze policy on family unification, denying tens of thousands of Palestinians the right to a family life. The number of houses demolished in East Jerusalem rose by 38 percent. Palestinians continue to face severe discrimination in the allocation of water in the West Bank, causing serious hardship in the summer.

The 2008 Amnesty International Report, in its year-end review for 2007, stated, “The human rights situation in the Israeli Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT) remained dire. Israeli forces killed more than 370 Palestinians, destroyed more than 100 Palestinian homes and imposed ever more stringent restrictions on the movement of Palestinians.

In June, the Israeli government imposed an unprecedented blockade on the Gaza Strip, virtually imprisoning its entire 1.5 million population, subjected them to collective punishment and causing the gravest humanitarian crisis to date. Some 40 Palestinians died after being refused passage out of Gaza for urgent medical treatment not available in local hospitals. Some 9,000 Palestinian adults and children remained in Israeli jails, some of whom had been held without charge or trial for years.” During the same period 13 Israelis were killed by Palestinian armed groups.

As if this litany of state terrorism is not enough, Palestinians suspected of actively opposing Israel’s occupation of the West Bank or Gaza, have had their homes and families attacked by Israeli tanks, mortars, missiles and bombs. And after their suspect is killed or imprisoned, the Israeli army bulldozes or dynamites their family’s home. Over the years of occupation, thousands of homes have been destroyed in this fashion. Israel has also killed hundreds of Palestinian leaders by assassination. Such attacks often kill innocent bystanders.

Police brutality against Arab Israelis is common and well documented. Illegal detention, beatings, personal property confiscations and torture of Arab citizens of Israel are a fact of life. Their homes are routinely invaded and ransacked in the middle of the night, under the pretext of searching for suspects. From 1967 to 1988 more than 600,000 Palestinians have been held in Israeli jail for periods ranging from one week to life. During the first Intifada (1987-1994), Israel arrested some 175,000 Palestinians. According to the B’tselem, some 85% of Palestinian detainees have been tortured during interrogation.

The Israeli torture includes everything from choking victims with urine and feces soaked bags tied over their heads to using electric cattle prods for anal rape and mutilation. The brutal torture of prisoners and detainees is recognized as a particularly vicious form of terrorism. Many thousands of Palestinians and Lebanese have died while in Israeli custody.

The use of cluster bombs in civilian territories is known to kill unarmed civilians and as such considered a crime, according to most international laws. However, Israel used cluster bombs in its bombing campaigns in Lebanon. Not surprisingly, therefore, that while the rest of the world recently vowed never to under any circumstance “use cluster munitions” nor “develop, produce, otherwise acquire, stockpile, retain or transfer to anyone, directly or indirectly, cluster munitions,” Israel, like the USA, China and Russia have not ratified the treaty banning its use.

Notwithstanding the fact that the above list of terrorism is incomplete, what is clear is that many of the leaders of the State of Israel ~ Begin, Rabin, Shamir, Barak and Sharon ~ were terrorists and that, irrespective of who runs the government there, the State of Israel continues to practice terrorism against her dispossessed Palestinians and neighbors. Audaciously, she has also practiced terrorism against the USA, the country which has been her greatest benefactor.

Recently, Israel’s latest 11-month blockade of Gaza has been dubbed as “abominable” by Desmond Tutu, the Nobel Laureate for Peace. He denounced the international community by stating that “our silence and complicity, especially on the situation in Gaza, shames us all. It is almost like the behavior of the military junta in Burma.”

The recent war in Palestine was no war ~ it was a holocaust in which children and women were targeted, as in Lebanon two years prior. The old saw children used as shields for Hamas is given and the media accepts it. It is well documented that Israel blatantly ignored the six month ceasefire and, when Hamas retaliated, Israiel fell upon the Palestinians with a heavy and ugly boot. Meanwhile the settlement plans for the West Bank are being doubled as the settlers continue to terrorize and kill Palestinians. The so-called current ceasefire is marked with one breach after another by Israel ~ a young farmer here, a family there, Israel continues its path of expulsion and terror. And always the children.

USA: NOAM CHOMSKY: The West Is Terrified of Arabic Democracies”

Average’s comment…. it seems that some Arabic Countries are Terrified of Arabic Democracies!!!!!!

Noam Chomsky
Noam Chomsky is one of the major intellectuals of our time. The eighty-two-year-old American linguist, philosopher and activist is a severe critic of US foreign and economic policy. Ceyda Nurtsch talked to him about the Arabic spring in its global context
Q: Mr. Chomsky, many people claim that the Arab world is incompatible with democracy. Would you say that the recent developments falsify this thesis?
Noam Chomsky: The thesis never had any basis whatsoever. The Arab-Islamic world has a long history of democracy. It’s regularly crushed by western force. In 1953 Iran had a parliamentary system, the US and Britain overthrew it. There was a revolution in Iraq in 1958, we don’t know where it would have gone, but it could have been democratic. The US basically organized a coup.
False friends: Iran’ democratically elected Prime Minister Mossadegh during a visit in the US in 1951, two years before the CIA’s coup d’état that ousted him.
In internal discussions in 1958, which have since been declassified, President Eisenhower spoke about a campaign of hatred against us in the Arab world. Not from the governments, but from the people. The National Security Council’s top planning body produced a memorandum – you can pick it up on the web now – in which they explained it. They said that the perception in the Arab world is that the United States blocks democracy and development and supports harsh dictators and we do it to get control over their oil. The memorandum said, this perception is more or less accurate and that’s basically what we ought to be doing.
Q: That means that western democracies prevented the emergence of democracies in the Arab world?
Chomsky: I won’t run through the details, but yes, it continues that way to the present. There are constant democratic uprisings. They are crushed by the dictators we – mainly the US, Britain, and France – support. So sure, there is no democracy because you crush it all. You could have said the same about Latin America: a long series of dictators, brutal murderers. As long as the US controls the hemisphere, or Europe before it, there is no democracy, because it gets crushed.
Q: So you were not surprised at all by the Arab Spring?
Chomsky: Well, I didn’t really expect it. But there is a long background to it. Let’s take Egypt for instance. You’ll notice that the young people who organized the demonstrations on January 25th called themselves the April 6th movement. There is a reason for that. April 6th 2008 was supposed to be a major labour action in Egypt at the Mahalla textile complex, the big industrial centre: strikes, support demonstrations around the country and so on. It was all crushed by the dictatorship. Well, in the West we don’t pay any attention: as long as dictatorships control people, what do we care!
Egyptian riot police beat a protester with batons, during anti government protests in the city of Mahalla, Egypt (AP Photo/Nasser Nasser).
Efforts to create democracy”: On 6 April 2008 Egyptian workers, primarily in the state-run textile industry, striked in response to low wages and rising food costs. Strikes were illegal in Egypt, and the protests were eventually crushed But in Egypt they remember, and that’s only one in a long series of militant strike actions. Some of them succeeded. There are some good studies of this. There is one American scholar, Joel Beinen – he is at Stanford – he has done a lot of work on the Egyptian labour movement. And he has recent articles and earlier ones, in which he discusses labour struggles going on for a long time: those are efforts to create democracy.
Q: Obama’s predecessor, George W. Bush, claimed to cause a domino effect of freedom with his policy of the “New Middle East”. Is there a relation between the uprisings in the Arab world to the policy of George W. Bush?
Chomsky: The main theme of modern post-war history is the domino effect: Cuba, Brazil, Vietnam… Henry Kissinger compared it to a virus that might spread contagion. When he and Nixon were planning the overthrow of the democratically elected Allende in Chile – we have all the internal materials now – Kissinger in particular said, the Chilean virus might affect countries as far as Europe. Actually, he and Brezhnev agreed on that, they were both afraid of democracy and Kissinger said, we have to wipe out this virus. And they did, they crushed it.
Today it’s similar. Both Bush and Obama are terrified of the Arab spring. And there is a very sensible reason for that. They don’t want democracies in the Arab world. If Arab public opinion had any influence on policy, the US and Britain had been tossed out of the Middle East. That’s why they are terrified of democracies in the region.
Q: The well-known British Middle East correspondent Robert Fisk recently stated that Obama and his policy is irrelevant for the developments in the region…
Chomsky: I read the article, it’s very good. Robert Fisk is a terrific journalist and he really knows the region well. I think what he means is that the activists in the April 6th movement don’t care about the United States. They have totally given up on the US. They know the United States is their enemy. In fact in public opinion in Egypt about 90 per cent think that the US is the worst threat that they face. In that sense the USA is of course not irrelevant. It’s just too powerful.
Q: Some criticize the Arab intellectuals for being too silent, too passive. What should the role of the Arab intellectual be today?
Chomsky: Intellectuals have a special responsibility. We call them intellectuals because they are privileged and not because they are smarter than anyone else. But if you are privileged and you have some status and you can be articulate and so on we call you an intellectual. And it’s the same in the Arab world as anywhere else.

Anti-Islamic Hate Speech is Now Legal in the Netherlands

Geert Wilders, the far-right Dutch Politician has been acquitted of all charges in his hate speech trial in Amsterdam. According to the Judge, comparing Islam to Nazism might be offensive, but it falls within the scope of free speech. Naturally, Geert stated, “It’s not only an acquittal for me, but a victory for freedom of expression in the Netherlands”. The judge also pointed out that Geert Wilder’s comments are often “crude and denigrating”, however they are not illegal; they included racist remarks like “head rag tax”. Why the term “head rag”? It sounds like the pejorative racist term “rag-head”, frequently used by the Americans.
The clear implication of this verdict is that Islam can be criticised without limits; consequentially, the followers of Islam will be demonised, like the Nazis used to demonise minorities, preparing the grounds for committing genocide. Hence, after World War II, many European nations introduced hate-speech laws to prevent the scapegoating of minorities. After this verdict, it’s difficult to envisage how anyone can be prosecuted in the Netherlands for hate-speech against Islam, and by implication its followers.
Will the same standards of – criticising without limits – apply to other groups? Therefore, can the Muslims in the Netherlands question the holocaust, homosexuality, absolute gender equality and the liberal sexual practices which include incest? Maybe someone from the far-right like Geert will invoke the theory of evolution, and argue that the black species are closer to the apes in Africa, not as evolved as the white Europeans, hence their backwardness compared to the advanced Western civilisation. This may sound offensive, but according to the judge’s verdict it will not be illegal, and fall within the spectrum of free speech.
The bitter truth of free speech in Europe is that, it is defined by – how much you can insult Islam and Muslims. For sure, if Geert were an Imam speaking about the Jews or Zionist-Jews in a far more moderate tone than comparing them to Nazis, he would have been ostracised by the usual hysteria of anti-Semitism, and would likely be facing charges of incitement to hate. Why do the Jews and in particular Zionist-Jews deserve special protection while the Muslims are fair game?
Where do the boundaries of free speech lie? According the judge, it is the direct call for violence. However, when one permits crass comments being made about an entire community, the gates of violence are being opened because provocation is the cause of violence. Hence the verdict and the subsequent elaboration by the judge sounds like Double-Dutch!
Is Geert Wilders a racist? Like most far-right groups, Geert denies his views towards Muslims are racist, because they are not a racial group. This is a fig-leaf that barely covers their private parts! Geert is looking at the issue from a racial point of view; protecting the Dutch culture (‘race’) from the foreign threat, thereby excludes other racial groups. The foreigners that he primarily targets are Muslims, who are composed of various racial groups. Hitler could have used the same argument of denying racism, if the Jews, the Slavs and the Gypsies had a similar common factor.
Therefore, Geert denies that he hates Muslims, because he does not want to appear like a racist bigot, and makes the ludicrous statement “I don’t hate Muslims, I hate Islam”; if you hate Islam then you hate the carriers of Islam. In the absence of those carriers, those values would cease to be relevant in the first place. The complaint of Geert exists, precisely because there are many followers of Islam applying the values of Islam.
Let us examine the one-liner arguments of Geert Wilders.
Islam and Nazism
He alleges that Islam is like Nazism. It’s strange for any far-right politician to make accusations of Nazism, when such a position in the political spectrum is where a Nazi party would operate from. Nazism and Fascism originated in Europe, where far-right groups still operate, looking for opportunities to make political gains. One of their central traits is blaming minorities for the problems of the majority population, so they resort to bashing minorities; Hitler did this to the Jews, Gypsies, and Slavs – Geert is doing this to the Muslims.
The comparison of Islam to Nazism is absolutely absurd. Nazism resurrects racial barriers as it is based on racial superiority; it divides society and creates animosity.  Accordingly, Nazis seeks to exclude those who are not part of the racial group; namely foreigners. Geert Wilders is the one who fits the description of a Nazi, as he is doing his utmost to exclude other groups, and refers to his fears of the foreigners threatening to overrun Dutch culture that is primarily a racial identity. Racial barriers are permanent, if one is born into a racial group, he could not become part of another racial group by migrating and adopting their way of life.
In contrast, Islam fundamentally opposed racial superiority, and works to break down racial barriers as it calls on mankind to unify. The demarcation between Muslim and non-Muslim is primarily in terms of the viewpoint towards the purpose of life in this world and the hereafter, like any other religion. However, Islam attempts to erase those demarcations by calling the rest of humanity towards it. You can convert to Islam or Christianity but you can’t become Dutch or German if you are born into another racial group.
Quran and Mein Kampf
Geert claims the Quran is similar to Mein Kampf; one wonders if he has read either of the two books. Where are the similarities? Which Chapter of the Quran resembles a chapter in Mein Kampf? Does Mein Kampf talk of the purpose of life, the creation, the Prophets sent by God and the hereafter? If they are similar, why has the Quran generated a billion followers unlike Mein Kampf? Is there a single academic institution in the West that would validate this claim with any form of elaboration?
If we look at the race-based ideology of Geert Wilders, with his talk of the threat of immigration from those who are not racially part of Dutch Society, he is far closer to Mein Kampf than the ideas expressed in the Quran. Islam always welcome others, the Quran preaches to humanity and reaches out to them.
Then they bring out the usual secular arguments against Islamic laws, which can’t be found anywhere in Mein Kampf! The problem with these Islamophobes is amnesia or denial of their own heritage. Whatever argument is brought forward against the Quran is more than likely to be applicable to the Biblical text, the basis of Judeo-Christian civilisation. Just pick any subject, for example, there is constant noise about how Islam is unfair to women, although the Muslim women are not the ones making the complaints. If gender equality is the criteria, then Christianity and Judaism have the same problem. Almost all the Prophets of God in the Biblical text are men, Christianity is based on the sacrifice of the only ‘son’ of God, which implies daughters were not good enough as a sacrifice and one can proceed to make an endless list of sexual discrimination.
Debating Islam?
Geert also stated that it is good news to be critical of Islam, and the Muslims would have no issue if that were the case, because there is clear distinction between making objective criticisms based on research and evidence, as opposed to making crude remarks which have no scholarship behind them in any academic institution in Europe. If Geert wants to debate instead of rant and exhibit his foul mouth, then he can easily challenge the Islamic world to an open debate. The problem is, the Muslims want to raise the level of discussion and engage in a civilised debate, whereas odious characters like Geert wants to lower this debate to a series of verbal exchanges that emanate from drunken racist hooligans.
The Netherlands is a very tiny nation in Northern Europe, which is likely to be even smaller in the future; instead of entertaining racist bigots like Geert, the Dutch nation should try to find its place amongst the vast majority of the World’s population, 1/5th of whom at least are followers of Islam.
